I may be a big hypocrite.
That "elective induction" my OBGYN offers at 39 weeks for those who have had non-complicated prior births is sounding better everyday.
Hemorrhoids have started. JOY. Now I know giving birth will actually make these worse, but right now my list of aches, pains and complaints just seems to grow everyday. I want to sleep. I want my legs to not hurt because of all this fluid. I want to blah blah blah.
I'm whiney. Hopefully I will buck up soon.
I'm at the stage where everytime I go to the bathroom I am hoping to see some mucus plug or bloody show or something.

Guest strip awesomeness!

By the super cool Steve Napierski of Dueling Analogs. I like to feel I am corrupting the webcomic world one artist at a time. Heh heh. XD

And there was one more thing... oh yes, ICONS!!!
You can find all these icons (and a stupid crazy amount more) over at the site.
YAY! I've finished something that's not a scarf!
I'm just so stoked that I finished a project! Normally I get tired of the project or something goes wrong (like the dog eats the project, or the cat kills the remaining yarn). But I have overcome! I am finished.
And although there is only one in the picture, there are really a matched set of gauntlets on my hands right now!
( Wanna see?! )
Where I got the pattern:
http://yarnophiliac.blogspot.com/2006/0 9/smocked-gauntlets-free-pattern.html
I decided to just continue the rib pattern for the back.
I used some german acrylic blend sport weight yarn.
If anyone wants to know what the yarn brand/color is, just let me know. I have the label at home.
Funny how it has gotten so hard to find sport weight in the Sacramento, CA area. Three of the four yarn shops in a 60 mile radius of where I live have closed down this year.
It is almost enough of an excuse for me to go psycho about my yarn stash...

Fredrik will be arriving any time in the next half an hour. Peeing my pants with excitement. Finally long distance becomes cohabitation... the best feeling in the world. :D
despite it being the middle of november, I think I'm still in denial that its almost winter time because I refuse to turn the heating on. It just feels wrong.
